Lei Day at Sweet Aloha Ice Cream was a vibrant celebration of Hawaiian culture and community spirit! On May 1st, our shop transformed into a tropical paradise, filled with the sounds of live music, the aroma of delicious Hawaiian cuisine,and the joyful energy of lei making demonstrations.
PolyProud Entertainment brought their expertise and passion to the event, offering engaging lei making workshops that taught attendees the art of creating these beautiful and symbolic adornments. The lively Polynesian dance performances that followed captivated the audience, showcasing the grace, rhythm, and spirit of traditional Hawaiian dance.
Our Hawaiian Plate Lunches were a hit, offering a taste of the islands with savory dishes that satisfied both locals and visitors alike. Although the event drew a large crowd, the enthusiasm and patience of our guests were heartwarming. We were thrilled to see so many people come together to celebrate Lei Day and experience the aloha spirit.
