Sweet Aloha Ice Cream, LLC ("Sweet Aloha," "we," "us") runs our ice cream and shave ice shop at 8600 W State Road 84, Suite A, Davie, FL 33324, this website, our online ordering, and our rewards program. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.

What we collect

Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email, birthday, and ZIP code or address when you join our rewards program, order online, book catering, sign up for emails or texts, enter a contest, apply for a job, or contact us.
Your rewards and purchase history. Visits, points, rewards used, and what you bought, so we can give you your rewards.
Payment information. Card payments are handled by our payment companies (such as Clover). We do not keep your full card number.
Website and device information. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar tools (including Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel) to see how people use our site, such as pages visited, the type of device and browser, and general location.

How we use it

To run your rewards account and give you points, birthday treats, and rewards.
To take and fill your orders, catering bookings, and payments.
To answer your questions and give you good service.
To send you emails and texts about flavors, events, and offers, if you signed up for them.
To show you our ads, and to measure if our ads work (see "Advertising" below).
To improve our shop, our menu, and this website, and to keep things safe and follow the law.

Advertising

We advertise on platforms like Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To show our ads to our own customers, or to people who are similar to them, we may share contact information such as your email address or phone number with these advertising partners. Before it is uploaded, this information is turned into a scrambled code (this is called "hashing"). The platforms use it only to match it to their own users, and then they delete what they did not match. These platforms may also use cookies on our website to show you our ads on other sites and apps.

You can ask us to leave you out of this at any time (see "Your choices"). You can also change your ad settings with Google at adssettings.google.com and with Meta in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with:

Companies that help us run the business, such as our point-of-sale and payment companies, our online ordering and email and text message services, our website host, and our rewards app. They may use it only to do work for us.
Advertising partners like Google and Meta, as explained above.
When the law requires it, or to protect our customers, staff, or business.
If our business is ever sold or changes owners, your information may move to the new owner, who must follow this policy.

Your choices

Texts: reply STOP to any text from us to stop getting them.
Emails: click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email from us.
Ads, your data, or your account: to see the information we have about you, fix it, delete it, or be left out of advertising matching, send us a message on our Contact page or ask at the shop. We will answer within 30 days. Deleting your information also ends your rewards points.
Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well.

Children

Our website and rewards program are for people 13 and older. Children under 13 can join only through a parent or guardian, who manages the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent's permission. If you think a child gave us information without permission, contact us and we will delete it.

How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards, like secure connections, access limits, and trusted service companies, to protect your information. No system is perfect, so we cannot promise that information will always be safe.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your rewards account is open or as long as we need it for the reasons on this page, and as the law requires (for example, tax records). Then we delete it or make it anonymous.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a big change, we will post it here, and tell rewards members by email or text when we can.
